Dr. Zhang Wei is the Chief Technology Officer of Shaanxi Smart Innovation Future Technology and the principal architect behind all three generations of the company’s quadruped robotic platforms — the RZTL-1, RZTL-1W, and Tongchui M1. With over 15 years of dedicated research in legged locomotion systems, he brings a rare combination of academic rigor and industrial engineering depth.

Before co-founding Shaanxi Smart Innovation Future Technology, Dr. Zhang spent six years as a senior researcher at Beijing Institute of Technology’s Robotics Laboratory, where he focused on high-torque-density actuator design and multi-gait transition control algorithms. His doctoral thesis on compliant joint mechanisms for bipedal robots laid the theoretical foundation for the proprietary joint actuator technology now deployed in the ZSM-1 platform.

Dr. Zhang holds 12 patents across legged locomotion control, joint actuator design, and wheel-legged hybrid kinematics. He is the named inventor on four granted invention patents, including CN116394261B (High-Torque Density Quadruped Joint Actuator Design) and CN115556109B (Autonomous Gait Transition Control System for Wheel-Legged Hybrid Robots).

Dr. Chen Jing leads all artificial intelligence and software development at Shaanxi Smart Innovation Future Technology, overseeing the perception stack, autonomous navigation engine, and cloud management platform that power every robot the company ships. She is the principal designer of the dual-spectrum thermal anomaly detection system — the AI core that enables the RZTL-1 and Tongchui M1 to identify overheating equipment, gas leaks, and structural defects without human intervention.

A graduate of Tsinghua University’s Department of Computer Science and Technology, Dr. Chen’s doctoral research focused on real-time semantic segmentation under adverse lighting conditions — work that directly informed the company’s approach to GPS-denied autonomous navigation in underground tunnels, data centers, and enclosed industrial facilities.

She has authored 8 peer-reviewed publications in international robotics and computer vision conferences, including contributions to ICRA, IROS, and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics. Her software copyright CN2021SR0847362 covers the multi-robot fleet coordination and cloud management architecture now deployed across 200+ active inspection sites.

Li Minghua is the VP of Engineering at Shaanxi Smart Innovation Future Technology, responsible for all hardware development, manufacturing quality, and systems integration. With 18 years of experience spanning civil-military integration projects, IP-rated enclosure engineering, and extreme-environment structural design, he is the reason every robot that leaves the Xi’an facility is built to outlast the conditions it is deployed in.

Before joining Shaanxi Smart Innovation Future Technology, Li spent a decade as a senior hardware engineer at a major defense contractor in Shaanxi Province, where he led the mechanical design of ground-based unmanned systems for military logistics applications. This background gave him direct experience with MIL-STD-810 environmental testing, vibration analysis, and the structural trade-offs required when designing for both IP67 sealing and field-maintainability.

At Shaanxi Smart Innovation Future Technology, Li oversees the modular payload interface system — the mechanical and electrical standard that allows operators to swap sensors, manipulators, and communication modules in under 60 seconds without tools. He also led the certification process for CE Marking, ISO 9001:2015, and the company’s High-Tech Enterprise designation.
