Tongchui M1

Tongchui M1 — Mission-Grade Quadruped

The Tongchui M1 is Shaanxi Smart Innovation Future Technology’s flagship industrial platform — a wheel-legged quadruped engineered for the harshest environments. With a near 1:1 payload-to-weight ratio, IP67 protection, dual hot-swap batteries and a 480 W expansion bus, it is the definitive carrier for power inspection, fire suppression, cargo transport and hazardous operations.

Platform Advantages

Near 1:1 Payload-to-Weight Ratio

30 kg stable payload on a 41 kg platform — approximately 50% higher than comparable-class robots. Carry sensors, cameras, fire suppression modules or cargo without compromising mobility.

IP67 All-Weather Deployment

Fully dust-tight and rated for 1 m water immersion. Operates from -20 °C to 55 °C — from arctic substations to tropical refineries, without modification.

Dual Hot-Swap Batteries

Two 54 V batteries can be swapped individually while the robot remains powered. Combined with an optional auto-charging dock, the M1 supports true 24/7 unattended deployment.

480 W Expansion Platform

Multi-voltage outputs (48 V / 24 V / 12 V / 5 V), dual GbE ports, USB 3.0 and serial interfaces deliver up to 480 W to payload modules — making the M1 a true mission-configurable carrier.

Dual-Mode Locomotion

Switch between legged mode for rough terrain and wheeled mode for flat surfaces — silently and efficiently. The robot adapts its gait in real time to the ground conditions it encounters.

100 TOPS Onboard AI

The onboard compute platform supports real-time SLAM navigation, object recognition, autonomous route planning and remote teleoperation — all without cloud dependency.

Application Scenarios

The Tongchui M1’s modular payload bay and rich interface ecosystem make it deployable across six major industry verticals — with the same hardware platform.

Heavy-duty wheel-legged robot inspecting power substation at night
Energy & Utilities

Power Grid Inspection

Mount dual-spectrum pan-tilt cameras and acoustic sensors to inspect substations, underground cable tunnels and transmission towers. The M1 replaces manual patrols, detects thermal anomalies and logs GPS-tagged fault locations — reducing inspection cycles by up to 70%.

Heavy-duty wheel-legged robot patrolling oil and gas refinery at night
Industrial Automation

Oil & Gas Refinery Patrol

Equipped with a robotic arm and vision system, the M1 performs valve operations, switch toggling and equipment status checks in hazardous environments — enabling zero-personnel maintenance windows in chemical plants, refineries and nuclear facilities.

Heavy-duty wheel-legged robot inspecting underground tunnel
Emergency Response

Underground Tunnel Inspection

Deploy a water cannon or foam module to suppress fires in areas inaccessible or unsafe for firefighters. The M1’s IP67 protection and high-temperature tolerance allow it to operate at the fire perimeter, reducing suppression time and protecting personnel.

Heavy-duty wheel-legged robot performing predictive maintenance in industrial plant
Logistics & Supply

Industrial Plant Maintenance

With a 30 kg stable payload and 150 kg obstacle-crossing capacity, the M1 carries equipment, tools and supplies across construction sites, mines and disaster zones where wheeled vehicles cannot operate.

Heavy-duty wheel-legged robot on security patrol at industrial facility
Security & Defense

Security Patrol

Equipped with a loudspeaker pan-tilt, signal booster and wide-angle cameras, the M1 conducts autonomous perimeter patrol, delivers voice warnings, collects evidence and supports anti-terrorism operations in critical infrastructure facilities.

Heavy-duty wheel-legged robot operating in hazardous chemical environment
Hazardous Environments

Hazardous Valve Operations

In chemical spills, gas leaks or post-explosion environments, the M1 enters the danger zone to close valves, isolate pipelines and execute rescue protocols — keeping human operators at a safe distance.

Platform Architecture

The Tongchui M1 is engineered as an open mission platform. The expansion bay accepts custom payload modules up to 480 W, while the structured mounting rail provides secure attachment points for cameras, sensors, robotic arms and communication equipment.
